Rationale

According to my research paper, one of the main motives that had driven the creation of Bitcoin was to eliminate the need for financial institutions so that transactions are direct among individuals. The blockchain technology provides a decentralized network that achieves this goal. I researched about  what bitcoin is and its efficiency. I identified the inefficiencies in our banking system through the speculation of the Financial Crisis of 2008. I acknowledged how Bitcoin can play a role in transforming the system or potentially replace the majority of it. I have chosen two types of audiences and will be using one genre for each. The information provided would be useful for individuals who are pursuing education in economics and cryptocurrency who will understand its implications and make better use of it. Hence the blog will provide them with substantial amounts of information with ease of accessibility. I have provided brief information on the blog so that readers can easily grasp the material without going through any dense piece of text. Along with images of Bitcoin minings and a trend chart, I have provided a link to Satoshi Nakamoto’s White Paper so that the people can have access to technical knowledge and evaluate the concept themselves.  Additionally, a poster will be made which will be targeted towards individuals with no knowledge of this field who will be informed and persuaded to seek a deeper understanding of it. In order to achieve this, the poster would have to be easily comprehensible with good visuals. I have used the character “Dobby” from Harry Potter in order to convey the message. In using this pop culture reference, my poster will appeal to individuals and be more relatable.
